Helps If I Read the TV Guide Completely

In an amendment to the previous post, another Pokemon Movie premier is set to appear on UK TV channel Jetix. Pokemon 4Ever, which as the title references is the 4th Pokemon movie, will air on Sunday 24th May at 9am, before the 10th movie (at 10.30am) and the 11th movie (at 12.30pm) – now that’s a movie marathon.

I could be wrong with this (and if I am, leave a comment), but I believe that this is the first time that Pokemon 4Ever has been shown on UK Television. Either way, its proving that Jetix is committed to becoming the new UK home for Pokemon.

Pokemon 11 Movie UK Air Date

The 11th Pokemon Movie: Giratina and the Sky Warrior is scheduled to air on the UK channel Jetix on Saturday May 23rd at 9am, probably to celebrate the release of Pokemon Platinum on Friday. The movie features Ash, Pikachu and traveling companions coming across a Shaymin on thier travels after it gets in the middle of a battle between Giratina and Dialga. During the movie, Ash and friends end up in the reverse world that Giratina inhabits in its Origine Form. But while Giratina want’s Shaymin for its own purposes, there is somebody out there who wants the power Giratina posseses and will do anything to take it. During the course of the movie, Shaymin also changes to its Sky Forme.

The movie will be repeated on Sunday at 12.30pm, after a showing of the 10th Movie: The Rise of Darkrai at 10.30am, the events in that moive influence the events that take place in the 11th movie.

In other Anime news, in a few weeks time Pokemon will air its 600th episode in Japan. To celebrate, the 599 and 600 will be a two part massive battle between Ash (or Satoshi as he’s known in Japan) and his main Sinnoh rival Paul(known better as Shinji in Japan), the episodes are entitled ‘Full Batte! Shinji Vs Satoshi (Part One)’ and ‘Full Batte! Shinji Vs Satoshi (Part Two)’ and will air on the 11th and 18th of June respectivly.

In an amendmet to the previous post (see below) Pokemon.com is saying that the 11th Pokemon movie Giratina and the Sky Warrior will be aired on Cartoon Network in the U.S on Friday the 13th of February at 7pm (not sure if thats a specific time zone or if it releates to all of them – better check your TV guides to make sure you dont miss it).

The movie will be repeated on the previously announced Sunday the 15th February at the same time of 7pm.

Here at The Pika Club, we like to try and keep you informed of things happening in the Pokemon world. So we present to you a quick list of important dates for the next month or so:

Sunday 22nd March: Pokemon Platinum for the DS is released in the United States.

Tuesday 31st March: Pokemon Movie 11: Giratina and the Sky Warrior will be released on DVD out in America according to Amazon.com. This date could change as there is no official word on its release yet

Currently we still don’t have a release date for the UK/European release of Pokemon Platinum on DS. A rumour going around suggests it’s released at the end of July, which is when several Pokemon games have been released over here in the past. If true, they I’d personally guess that it would be the 24th or 31st of July, but that’s only a guess on my part and not in anyway official. As soon as we get an official date, we’ll post it here.

    Brand New TPC News Blog

The 4th version of The Pika Club’s website has been in development for a while now, and it’s still in development. This is not v4, just to clear things up. However, while we wait for development for v4 to finish, we’ve thought we’d put something kind of content for people to view.

So here’s our News Blog. In it, we’ll try to bring you all the latest news that’s going on in the Pokemon world… like when Pokemon Platinum will be released in America (March 22nd) and Europe (TBA), about the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game announced (Explorers of the sky, due out sometime this Spring in Japan, no release plans for other regions), new Trading Card Game set, called Platinum, being released 11th February, and the 11th movie, Giratina and the Sky Warrior being released on DVD in America in spring (no specific date yet. Also don’t bother asking for European release dates, we’re still waiting for the 7th movie to be released over here)

Well, they’re just a few examples of the kind of news we hope to bring.

And on a side note, a couple of years ago, we used to use the web address thepikaclub.com, then due to circumstances beyond our control we lost that one and had to use our current one of thepikaclub.co.uk. Well, the good news is that we now own thepikaclub.com again. Both links will lead to exactly the same site (currently .com redirects to .co.uk) but its good to know that all our old links out there on the web now work again and point back here.
